Gotoh replacement Tune-O-Matic with a relic / aged finish for a ‘used’ or worn-in look. These have been aged in-house at their factory in Japan. Direct replacement for Gibson ABR-1 bridges. No more lost saddles, buzzes, or rattles! Comes with threaded posts and thumbwheels. Saddles are made from hard Zinc.

The saddles on this Gotoh bridge are held in place with a nut and bolt that is attached with a chemical thread locking compound to prevent the assembly from loosening. This ensures that the saddles sit firmly on the bridge, providing smooth intonation adjustment and eliminating the typical saddle “wobble” that occurs on most original tune-o-matic ABR-1 bridges. However, this design means that removing and replacing the saddles can be very difficult and may result in damaging the screw heads and scratching the bridge unit. It is possible to successfully remove the bond with the correct methods and tools but we recommend taking the bridge and replacement saddles to a qualified guitar luthier who can carry the work out for you.
