Set of 6. 4/40 thread. Fits Gibson electric guitars with ABR-01 tune-o-matic bridges (look on the underside of the bridge for the ABR stamp. Pre-1972 guitars and vintage re-issues. The bridge has a small retaining wire running along the top of the intonation screws.)
GraphTech®, String-Saver®, Saddles. Black finish. As the string vibrates against the String-Saver material, a thin Teflon film is created. Teflon eases the grip on the string and microscopically spreads the stress over a greater area. For string breakage reduction the difference can be dramatic. They also have the full-bodied tone and bite of vintage steel saddles.
