Set of 6 Gotoh tuning machines, 3 per side, 15:1 gear ratio. These high-quality, made-in-Japan machine heads come complete with 8.8mm outer diameter push-fit bushes and mounting screws.

These Gotoh “Vintage Tone Revival” machine heads are a special edition based on the SD90 design, featuring 2mm longer brass string posts. The extended posts provide extra space for additional string wraps, making them ideal for acoustic guitars like Martin and electric models such as Rickenbacker, as well as instruments with thicker headstocks.

These machine heads feature brass-made string posts and internal washers, true to the specifications used by Gibson until 1975 and Fender until 1966. While most modern string posts and washers are now made from steel, this return to brass enhances vibration transmission, providing a resonance and tonal character reminiscent of vintage sound.

Commissioned exclusively by Hosco in Japan, this set is not part of Gotoh’s standard catalogue and comes packaged in unique Hosco branding.
