The ‘Black Nylon Trubass’ string was originally developed for the Burn’s Black Bison Bass. Great Strings to simulate a double bass sound on an standard bass guitar. These strings have made the most famous appearance on the top of the ‘Apple’ building while Paul McCartney was playing his Hofner. You will note that the tension is low, making this string extremely comfortable to play and the heavier gauge is due to anything lighter and the strings themselves would start to flap.

Super smooth with ultra low tension transforms any electric bass into a jazzy upright sound. Great on a fretless bass. Also works well with any kind of jazz, fusion, dub and reggae styles.

When fitting Rotosound Bass Strings, be sure that the silked part of the string ONLY is wound around the machine post. If the speaking length of the string is wound around the post, the string may then be prone to breakage. This type of breakage is not covered by Rotosound’s normal warranty.
