This is a set of Rotosound 4-String Solo Bass stainless steel pressure wound bass strings, 45-105, Long Scale

Solo Bass Strings are made by rolling the wire as the string is being made. The original pressure wound stainless steel bass string designed in the mid-1970s. Similar to regular stainless steel strings but with a smoother feel.

This string has three advantages over the conventional roundwound: a smooth feel, ideal for fretless bass and studio work; no finger noise/reduced fret wear, and it retains the brightness of the roundwound string – due to rolling, mass is retained and therefore its brightness.
