Romantic Guitar Anthology Volume 1 is a graded repertoire book suitable for students of grades 1 to 2 playing standard. Standard teaching pieces by the 19th Century’s leading composer-guitarists Carulli, Giuliani and Sor are presented alongside rarely available works by Jaime Bosch, Johann Kaspar Mertz and Franz Tucek. Also includes original guitar pieces by Berlioz and Paganini.

Composer biographies and extensive teaching notes on each piece are included together with a CD recording of all of the works in the anthology, performed by Jens Franke.
