Rickenbacker, 1993 Plus 12 String – JetGlo

Pete Townshend requested that Rickenbacker revive and modernize his cherished Model 1993 guitar, and we gladly complied. The outcome is the 1993Plus, boasting a neck that’s 1/8 inch (3.1 mm) wider, a Caribbean rosewood fingerboard, and a more robust two-piece neck construction with a rounded heel for added comfort. This iconic 12-string model features standard three vintage reissue pickups, stereo output, a trapeze tailpiece, classic knobs, and an F-hole.

The double body binding and pearlescent inlays lend an elegant touch. The X-bracing within the body enhances the full, rich, and warm sounds our instruments are celebrated for. The enchanting, melodic chorus effect of our 12-string guitars continues to improve with time. The original 1993 model was once a Rose Morris exclusive in Britain during the sixties.
