Description

The ToMemling project by Psallentes focuses on the paintings of Hans Memling (1430-1494). We take a fresh look at his masterpieces. At the same time, we lend our ear to listen. What music do we hear in them? What music does this painting inspire us to play? It goes without saying that we look first of all at music from Memling’s own period (the late fifteenth century). But we can also go in a different direction. As long as we reach our goal: to pay tribute through music to a great Flemish master.
