This Moeck 2940 Flauto Rondo comfort knicktenor with extra keys is made of maple, and is an ideal wooden recorder for the improving player who requires a more flexible tone with increased dynamic potential. It is comfortable to hold and allows for easy fingering. The double C/C# bottom key and middle G/F keys helps players play the tenor in comfort without large finger stretches. The ‘knick’ creates a more comfortable hold allowing the arms to be close to the body, whilst still projecting the sound outwards.These recorders are suitable instruments for ensemble playing, with its balanced tone across the registers blending well within an ensemble.
