Description

The Apparition de L’eglise Eternelle, is one of the most impressive organ works from Messiaen’s early years, composing it when he was only 24. This is a meditative piece, with a slow tempo and a characteristicsonoritythroughout is the sustained ringing of open fifths and octaves.
