Back in 1963, Ludwig introduced the very first run of Acrolite Series snare drums. Originally aimed at beginners, professional drummers fell in love with the distinctive dry, sharp punch this snare produced. The 14″ x 6.5″ Ludwig LM405C Acrolite snare is a homage to the original and bears the same distinct sound as its ancestor. This version is made of seamless brushed aluminium for a mat finish.
