More than just a humbucker set across the soundhole, the M1 Active utilises its carefully tuned second hum-‘bucking’ coil to capture the higher frequencies bouncing around inside the body and the movement of the soundboard. This provides an amplified acoustic sound which has presence and naturally, authentic acoustic tone. M1 Active hears the entire frequency range of the tone woods, thereby contributing warmth and complexity to your amplified sound.

The M1 Active features an onboard preamp and audiophile circuitry to deliver plug-and-play, pure acoustic sound. The pickup sends full, direct signal to your acoustic amp or PA which eliminates the need for an external preamp, boost, or excessive gain from a mixing desk.

The M1 Active includes a volume control and adjustable pole pieces for perfect balance and tone between the strings.
