Our new range of J. Wood viols, exclusive to The Early Music Shop, provide a premium-quality instrument at an affordable price. Well suited to all levels of player, each viol is individually set up and strung with Aquila strings by our in-house luthier prior to despatch. The 7 string bass viol is based on an original by Nicholas Bertrand (c.1726) and is supplied with a lightweight hard case and snakewood bow.
