Description

(WPU90TB / S-90TB) A recreation of the original P-90 from the 1940’s. 6 individual round Alnico V magnets. This single coil pickup has a tap wire along the winding (similar to a selectable impedance tube amp output transformer.) To allow an 8.5 K full coil or a 5.65K tapped coil. Can be wired directly or through mini switch on/on or push/pull pot etc.

Magnet Type = Alnico 5

D.C. Resistance = 8.5K / 5.65K tap

Pole Piece Spacing = 50mm

Mount Type = Body or Pickguard

Lead wire = 3 Conductor with Braid

Lead wire = 4 core with dead red lead. Do not use red lead wire.

*** The red lead wire will need to be taped off and left unused.

For full power use black and white leads

For reduced power use Black and green leads

You can add switching via either push/pull pot or mini switch to enable both outputs.
