Description

Among Finger’s numerous chamber music works are several previously unnoticed trios for alto recorders and basso continuo. Two of these trios are presented here for the first time in a new edition. The selected sonatas are works that stand on a par with the best similar compositions by William Corbett, Gottfried Keller, Louis Henri Paisible and Daniel Purcell, written at roughly the same time in England. – Sonata Op. 6 no. 2 G minor – Sonata Op. 6 no. 6 in C minor
