**PLEASE NOTE** These strings measure 36.75″ / 93cm from the ball end to the start of the silk winding. These strings have Sky Blue Silk at both ends of the string.

FLATS are the leading range of flat wound bass strings from Ernie Ball. These smooth ribbon wound strings have a sleek, slinky feel with a naturally rich sound.

As with all Ernie Ball strings they have a tin-plated steel hex core for great intonation and solid fundamental tone. The outer flattened-tape wrap wire is stainless steel which, once wound, is polished to beautifully smooth finish.

The sound of Flats is literally smooth. It’s deep and powerful with a softer upper response and less of the round wound brilliance resulting in solid fundamental tones.
