The EMG JR Daemonum Set, designed in collaboration with Jim Root, features a pair of high-output active pickups tailored for metal and hard rock guitarists. This set includes a bridge pickup with black steel poles and a ceramic magnet, delivering a powerful, aggressive tone similar to the EMG 81, and a neck pickup with ceramic studs for a clean, high-end percussive sound. Both pickups are equipped with custom Retro Active preamps, providing the benefits of active electronics with the dynamic response of passive pickups. The set is specifically spaced for Floyd Rose tremolo systems, ensuring perfect alignment and optimal performance.
