Polyweb is Elixir’s completely unique approach to coating guitar strings. The heaviest shield offering from Elixir coats the complete string with a micro-thin polymer tube that you can actually see and feel. It stops any gunk getting at the strings and gives a smooth feel with the added benefit of reduced finger squeaky noise.

Beneath the coating is an original-style 80/20 bronze wound string which has an inherently bright and vibrant tone. The Polyweb coating deliberately rounds off some of the brightness to give a warm sounding set of acoustic guitar strings which’ll last for ages!
