Based on extensive research into vintage components, our supplier has found that CAB (cellulose acetate butyrate) material faithfully recreates the look of plastic knobs from the ’50s and ’60s. Unlike modern acrylic knobs, Les Paul knobs of that era were made with CAB, giving them a unique texture and appearance.

Top hat knob commonly known as a bell knob. This knob has embossed off-white numbers from underneath. For use on 24 spline pots as commonly found on US-made guitars. Will also fit our CTS pots and other high-quality brands. Will not fit the pots in our metric range made by Alpha or any other metric 18 spline pots.

These are sold as a set of four and are very high-quality knobs that are made in Japan.
Normally used on instruments that have USA-sized pots such as USA-made Gibson and Fender guitars.
