G-string silverplated copper wound ; and is tuned 1 octave lower (low G) Strings made of Bionylon® The new eco-friendly synthetic strings for Ukulele. These strings are made of rounded, smooth Bionylon® monofilaments – a new material that boasts excellent acoustic and mechanical properties and provides warm and mellow perfomances. Bionylon® is, for its 67-70%, a plant’s derivate (castor oil); this allows a reduction of the 50% of carbon dioxide’s emissions in the atmosphere during the polymer-synthesis than the other common Nylons employed for musical strings.
