This cover is based upon a 3D Scan of an original 1959 PAF cover. Pole piece holes are 49.2mm spacing and each pole piece hole is 5.41mm (.213”) in diameter. This cover has no copper underplating which makes it ideal for relicing.

We recommend that you have the cover wax-potted onto the pick-up. This will eliminate microphonic feedback which can affect pick-ups that don’t have this process. It is not something that can be carried out by anyone and we strongly advise that you have it professionally done.
